Todd R. Eskelsen, a partner at Schiff Hardin LLP’s Washington D.C. Office, and James M. Jacobs, a Wake Forest Law alumnus and General Counsel to the Illinois Farm Bureau and affiliated insurance companies, will discuss the state of the legal market and offer insight for focusing your job search in light of the current economy. They will discuss:
• The current status of the legal industry from their perspectives
• The latest changes in the large law firm recruiting process and compensation systems
• Developing a strategy for breaking into their career fields
• What job search skills/tools students should focus on this year and for their career
