Duke Endowment Fellowship Program

The Duke Endowment is currently accepting applications for its 2010-2012 Fellowship program, a two-year, full-time position for those who recently have completed undergraduate or graduate degrees and who aspire to be leaders in the philanthropic and/or nonprofit sector.  The Endowment is looking for applicants who have demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector and exhibited leadership potential in their civic and/or professional life.   In addition, applicants for The Duke Endowment Fellowship must be a:
• Past or current resident of North Carolina or South Carolina OR
• Recent graduate of a college or university located in North Carolina or South Carolina

Public Interest: 2010 Equal Justice Works Fellowship

The 2010 Equal Justice Works Fellowship application is now available.  Recognizing that many obstacles prevent committed attorneys from practicing public interest law, the fellowship program provides financial and technical support to lawyers working on innovative and effective legal projects. NALP Information for Students

Each year NALP publishes an “Open Letter to Law Students” from its employer members to give students additional insight into employers’ perspectives on the recruiting process.  The letter offers helpful suggestions for the upcoming interview season.  Regardless of whether you are interested in working for a NALP-member employer, we encourage all students to read the letter as many of the suggestions offered are applicable to wide range of legal employers.
